The Blade Show is coming together quickly, and with less than two months to go, I’ll be using this page to keep everyone updated as new details are finalized.
Hotel Stays
I’d like to make it easy for everyone to connect outside the show. If you’re coming from out of town, I recommend staying in Germantown.
Socializing
SocializingThis is an opportunity to get together outside the show as a group. Everyone is welcome, and each person will order and pay for their own food and drinks.
Please let me know which meals you’d like to attend so I can get a headcount for reservations.
- Thursday: Chuck Benedon and his son perform every Thursday night at Das Barrel Room. If you’re already in town, stop by for a casual meet-up. Bring your instrument and play with the band.
- Friday: Group dinner (location TBD).
- Saturday: Group dinner after the show (location TBD).
- Sunday: Group breakfast, with an optional wrap-up dinner if there’s enough interest.
Show Knife
We would like to create a collaborative show knife. Please let me know if you would like to participate.
At the end of the show, We will raffle the finished piece to benefit a charitable cause (TBD).
Demo / Talk
If speaking solo isn’t your thing, no problem at all. We can also set up relaxed panel discussions where you can simply join a conversation around a topic you’re comfortable with—no pressure to lead, just an easy, low-stress way to share and participate.
