He joined The Knifemakers’ Guild in 1971 and became a full-time knifemaker in 1977 after a long and successful career as a fireman and EMT. He served 18 years as a member of the board of directors of the Knifemakers Guild, and nine of those as the president. Inducted into The Blade Magazine Cutlery Hall of Fame in 1997. Frank passed away in 2009.
