I’ve been making and selling custom knives since 1984. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of creating pieces for collectors and users around the world. Knifemaking isn’t just a craft to me — it’s one of the great passions of my life, and I plan to keep building blades as long as my hands allow.

Not long after I made my first knife, I met a maker named Jerry Kohls. He saw potential in my early work and generously took me under his wing, teaching me the fundamentals of the craft. Along the way, I’ve also had the opportunity to learn from outstanding makers including Ron Hembrook, Peter Martin, Howard Clark, Dave Ricke, Dave Miller, Ron Johnson, and many others.

I believe you can see a touch of each of their influence in my knives. Their mentorship helped shape my skills, refine my eye for detail, and ultimately guide me toward developing a style that is distinctly my own.
