Ralph Bone was a highly respected and innovative craftsmen, known for his masterful work in multiple fields. He started his journey as a knifemaker at the remarkable age of nine and continued to produce knives throughout his life. From 1964 to 1970, he established himself as a custom knifemaker in Lubbock, Texas, crafting high-quality handmade fighting and sportsman’s knives. He even taught his “favorite knifemaker,” Enedino De Leon, who joined his company in 1969.

Beyond knifemaking, Bone also became renowned as a custom gun maker and a master engraver, a profession he pursued until his passing. His artistic talent in engraving, particularly his unique innovations and intricate Celtic designs, gained him significant recognition within the industry.
