Blade Material: Pattern-welded Damascus steel. The visible “waves” or “water” pattern are created by layering different types of steel (typically high-carbon and nickel-based steels), folding them, and then etching the blade in acid to reveal the layers.

Handle: A tapered natural antler (stag) handle. It features a polished crown/butt and what appears to be a brass bolster and spacer (possibly with a blue fiber or plastic accent ring).

Markings: The blade is stamped “KELGIN” at the ricasso (the flat part of the blade near the handle), which is the standard maker’s mark for Largin.

Sheath: A custom buckskin/leather sheath with a primitive or Native American-inspired design, including beaded fringe. This style of sheath is very characteristic of the “frontier” look that many Kelgin collectors look for.
