Designed in a clean, traditional Japanese “Saya” style, the knife flows organically into its wooden scabbard, creating a seamless piece of visual art when sheathed.

Material Composition & Premium Details

• The Blade: A dramatic, upswept trailing-point profile featuring an immaculate satin finish. The geometry includes a beautiful, long swedge along the spine and a crisp hollow grind. Montjoy’s signature block-letter “MONTJOY” stamp sits perfectly on the satin-finished ricasso.

• The Wood Sheath & Handle: A highly rare “Saya” style matching handle and sheath setup. The wood is exceptionally figured Macassar Ebony or premium Ziricote, displaying high-contrast, linear dark and amber grain ribbons. When sheathed, the lines of the wood flow seamlessly together, mimicking a traditional Japanese wooden scabbard.

• Construction & Accents: It features a full tapered tang flanked by meticulous hand-filed coin-edge detail along the spine, balanced by crisp structural liners. Unlike the previous knives, the dovetailed metal bolsters feature a brushed satin finish instead of a mirror polish, flawlessly matching the grain texture of the blade and handle.
